Are the games fair, random and tested?

Casino Game Fairness

To ensure casino game fairness, We adhere to the following requirements and standards:

Licensing

Now that online gambling has become a major player in the industry, laws and regulations regarding online betting have been established. In order to remain compliant, internet gaming platforms must adhere to the regulations of the states they operate in. These regulations are maintained by the regulatory government bodies (“regulators”), who are very strict regarding player protection. To become licensed, internet gaming platforms undergo extensive scrutiny, vetting and background checks. The platform operators are required to adhere to various guidelines to obtain a license and keep that license. Regulators in each state set their own requirements for quality, fairness, security, and patron protection. Regulators also revise gaming regulations on a consistent basis in order to cater to the demands of an ever-evolving gaming market. This is why players should only play on regulated and licensed gambling platforms. That is the only way to be assured of the legitimacy of a platform.

Platform Encryption and Protection

Encryption technology is one of the main measures internet gaming platforms use to protect their players from fraud. A Transport Layer Security (TLS) data encryption protocol has become standard across platforms. The TLS technology converts private data into unbreakable code. This protocol uses two ‘keys’; there’s a public one that encrypts the data, and a private one that decrypts it on the other end. Our platforms meet the highest security standards in the industry, with a five-level security system, multiple firewalls, and TLS encryption. Early-warning systems in the form of limits on unusually high stakes and winnings prevent manipulation and other criminal activities at an early stage.

Random Number Generators (RNGs)

When it comes to the fairness of internet casino games, Random Number Generators (RNGs) are the main key to establishing a trusted game foundation. An RNG is an algorithm that is used to produce random results in online casino games (except for live dealer games, which have a human dealer). The RNG software constantly generates ‘seeded’ numbers that have absolutely no predictable pattern. The RNG algorithm and seed numbers that are used in any game are unknown. When players gamble on our platform, they can be assured that the game outcomes are completely random. RNG software determines the shuffling and dealing of cards and all other randomly generated events that are offered on our games.

Independent Auditing and Game Testing

Internet gaming platforms (and game developers as well) are required to be independently audited by external companies. These companies evaluate game payouts, game penetration, software algorithms, mathematical formulas, malfunctions, and bonus pays (among other things) for every single game that is presented on an internet gaming platform. If anything is flagged during game testing, the independent auditor will require an internet gaming platform to make upgrades before more testing commences. The auditor will not sign off on a game until any and all issues have been resolved. A platform will usually display their approval from an independent testing lab on their site homepage.

Fraud/Collusion Detection

Our investigations team is trained in using sophisticated detection tools so that players are guaranteed a safe gaming environment. They monitor for game fraud, financial fraud and collusion. Collusion happens between two or more players and is a strategy meant to achieve an unfair advantage over the other players at the table. We have developed a Collusion Prevention System to detect such players and ban them from the site. The system works based on a combined set of algorithms, permutations and combinations, and it will identify the players who collude so that appropriate actions can be taken against them. When you are trying to sit at a table, you may (on occasion) see a message indicating that you are associated with a user who is already seated at the table. This happens when our system detects a close association between your account and another account at the table. This association is based on a number of parameters, and a system is in place to prevent any possible collusion by two people who are well known to each other. This is a standard security restriction that applies to all of our players, and is not targeting your account in particular.

On occasion, players at some tables may claim they can see other players’ cards. This is not true. The recognition procedures built into our software will detect any kind of tampering or fraud. The information regarding the community cards is sent by our game servers to all the players’ devices. The information containing a player’s hole cards is sent only to that particular player’s device. It is not possible for another player to obtain this information and thereby read your cards.

Financial Fraud

Our commitment to providing a secure environment necessitates the monitoring of funds, both into and out of the system. One of the functions of the investigations team is to verify cash outs for their subsequent processing. The basic guideline is to establish if the winnings being cashed out are legitimate. We employ a unique combination of advanced system approvals as well as meticulous and skilled manual verification processes to minimize the fraud percentage. This resembles a post facto investigation and allows an in-depth verification into the various aspects of game play, financial details, etc.

Additional Fairness Elements

Licensing, platform protection, RNGs, and independent auditing are only part of what goes into player protection and game fairness. Identity and age verification are required to prevent underage gambling and to reduce the risk of money laundering or fraud. Internet gaming platforms also have rules that prevent the use of any product that will compromise the fairness of a game, including Bots (programs that can interact with computer systems or users), artificial intelligence (AI), or Real Time Assistance (RTA) tools. Our Unfair Advantage Policy lists in detail which products can or cannot be used, and which measures we take to prevent unfair practices.
