GAME OBJECTIVES:

  • PIECES OF 88 is a 5-reel, ‘ALL WAYS SLOT’ game with 243 possible ways to win in the base game and the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature.
  • All symbols pay from LEFT to RIGHT in any position on adjacent reels, starting from the left-most reel, except for the TREASURE MAP symbol which pays anywhere in view<>.
  • 3 or more TREASURE MAP symbols landing in view will trigger the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature and award 10 FREE SPINS, which can retrigger during the feature.
  • During the base game and the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature, all DOUBLOON symbols which land in view will be added into the CAPTAIN’S TREASURE CHEST.
  • Filling the CAPTAIN’S TREASURE CHEST with DOUBLOON symbols can trigger the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature at any time and award the chance to win the MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND Jackpots.

HOW TO PLAY:

  • Setting 'BETS': When player enter the game, a default bet is set. Player can change the bet value by clicking the + or - buttons either side of the BET icon in desktop and mobile. On clicking the Bet icon, Bet selection window will pop out, player can select the desired bet in between Min and Max bets.
  • Repeat bet/change bet: The default bet for the next spin will be the same as the amount wagered on the previous spin. Just click on 'SPIN' to place the same bet again.
  • Spin: The SPIN button in the right middle starts the game in desktop (Space bar can be used to trigger a spin). The SPIN button is at the bottom of the game screen in portrait mode and at the right side of the game screen in landscape mode in mobile.
  • Volume: The volume icon will play the game sound. Click on the volume icon to mute the volume. 
  • Credits: Your remaining game balance after you have placed the desired bet is shown in ‘BALANCE’ meter i.e. the current game balance minus the total bet placed. Game balance is shown at the bottom of the game screen.
  • 'AUTOPLAY': Select the AUTOPLAY for hands-free play.
  • To make use of the AUTOPLAY feature, click on the Autoplay button in the bottom right of the game screen beside volume button. When the AUTOPLAY pop up opens. Select the number of spins from the pop up.
  • Click on the spin stop button to stop the AUTOPLAY feature.
  • The available options under this feature are:
  • Selection of Spins : The game will spin for the number of rotations selected from the pop-up menu. You can choose a maximum of 50 spins and play until your balance is more than the total bet placed.
  • 'AUTOPLAY' option will be disabled in the demo mode.

GAME RULES:

  • PIECES OF 88 is a 5-reel, ‘ALL WAYS SLOT’ game with 243 possible ways to win.
  • The BET value can be changed by using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons.
  • Click on the PLAY button to begin the game with the currently selected BET & DOUBLE symbols (CREDITS).
  • The paytable will always display the win amounts for the current selected BET.
  • All symbols pay from LEFT to RIGHT in consecutive reels, starting with the left most reel except for the TREASURE MAP symbol which pays anywhere in view.
  • All wins except JACKPOTS in the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature are paid according to the paytable.
  • Coinciding wins on different ways are added to the player BALANCE.
  • Only the highest win on each possible win combination will be paid.
  • The TREASURE MAP is a SCATTER symbol.
  • The TREASURE MAP symbol wins are added to other way wins and will be added to the player BALANCE.
  • Way wins, TREASURE MAP symbol wins and JACKPOT wins are added to the player BALANCE.
  • When 3 or more TREASURE MAP symbols land anywhere in view, the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature is awarded.
  • The CANNON (WILD) symbol substitutes for all other symbols except for the TREASURE MAP and DOUBLOON symbols.
  • The CANNON (WILD) symbol appears only on reels 1, 2, 3, 4 and do not appear on reel 5 in both the base game and the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature.
  • DOUBLOON symbols appear only on reels 2, 3, 4 and do not appear on reels 1 and 5 in both the base game and the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature.
  • The win display count-up animations can be skipped by clicking anywhere or by pressing SPACEBAR (desktop).
  • MIN BET is #{uiConfig.minBet} and MAX BET is #{uiConfig.maxBet}.
  • The theoretical return to the player (RTP) ranges from 95.05% to 96.26% based on DOUBLE symbols (CREDITS) selected.
  • Logging into your account on the desktop website and selecting the option “HISTORY” inside any game will allow you to access your game play history.

DOUBLE SYMBOLS:

  • DOUBLE symbols are activated depending on the CREDITS staked.
    •  8 CREDITS will activate the DOUBLE CUTLASS symbol.
    • 18 CREDITS will activate the DOUBLE CUTLASS and DOUBLE RUM symbols.
    • 38 CREDITS will activate the DOUBLE CUTLASS, DOUBLE RUM and DOUBLE JOLLY ROGER symbols.
    • 68 CREDITS will activate the DOUBLE CUTLASS, DOUBLE RUM, DOUBLE JOLLY ROGER and DOUBLE FIRST MATE symbols.
    • 88 CREDITS will activate the DOUBLE CUTLASS, DOUBLE RUM, DOUBLE JOLLY ROGER, DOUBLE FIRST MATE and DOUBLE CAPTAIN symbols.
    • De-activated DOUBLE symbols will not appear during play.
  • If 5 DOUBLE symbols land as part of a winning combination, the player will be awarded with the ‘10 of a kind’ payout.
  • If 2 DOUBLE symbols and 1 SINGLE symbol land as part of a winning combination, then the player will be awarded the ‘5 of a kind’ payout.
  • If 1 DOUBLE symbol and 1 SINGLE symbol land as part of a winning combination, then the player will be awarded the ‘3 of a kind’ payout.
  • The CANNON (WILD) symbol is considered a SINGLE symbol when substituted with any DOUBLE symbol.
  • The maximum win available to the player through DOUBLE symbols is ‘10 of a kind’.

PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS:

  • 3 or more TREASURE MAP symbols landing anywhere in view during the base game will trigger the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature with 10 FREE SPINS awarded to the player.
  • PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS will be played with the high paying symbols and the CANNON (WILD) symbol only.
  • Symbols 9, 10, J, Q, K and A will not appear during PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS.
  • PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS are played at the same BET and with the same DOUBLE symbols selected at the time of the triggering game.
  • PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS will be re-triggered when 3 or more TREASURE MAP symbols land in view during the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature and will award an additional 10 FREE SPINS.
  • PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS will end when there are no more FREE SPINS available, and the total win will be added to the players BALANCE.

CAPTAIN’S BOOTY:

  • Each DOUBLOON symbol which lands in view during the base games or PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature adds to the CAPTAIN’S TREASURE CHEST.
  • The CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature is triggered randomly after any DOUBLOON symbols are added to the CAPTAIN’S TREASURE CHEST. The more DOUBLOON symbols in the CAPTAIN’S TREASURE CHEST, the higher the chance of activating the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature.
  • DOUBLOON symbols appear only on reels 2, 3 , 4 and do not appear on reels 1 and 5  in both the base game and the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature.
  • DOUBLOON symbols do not appear when the player selects 8 CREDITS.
  • The MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND jackpots are active depending on the number of CREDITS staked on the triggering game.
    • 88 CREDITS will activate the MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND jackpots.
    • 68 CREDITS will activate the MINI, MINOR and MAJOR jackpots.
    • 38 CREDITS will activate the MINI and MINOR jackpots.
    • 18 CREDITS will activate the MINI jackpot.
    • No jackpots are active with 8 CREDITS.
  • The Jackpot value increases depending on the BET selected and not the DOUBLE symbols (CREDITS) selected.
  • Multiple CAPTAIN’S BOOTY features can trigger if 2 or more DOUBLOON symbols appear anywhere in view and add to the CAPTAIN’S TREASURE CHEST.
  • When the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature is triggered, the player will be moved to the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature game screen where 12 TREASURE CHESTS are available for player to select.
  • The player continues selecting TREASURE CHESTS until 3 matching TREASURE CHESTS have been revealed and the associated jackpot has been won.
    • 3 PEARL CHESTS will award the GRAND jackpot.
    • 3 GOLD CHESTS will award the MAJOR jackpot.
    • 3 SILVER CHESTS will award the MINOR jackpot.
    • 3 GEM CHESTS will award the MINI jackpot.
  • The MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND jackpots are fixed Jackpots.
  • The CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature will take precedence when the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS and CAPTAIN’S BOOTY features are triggered on same spin.
  • The CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature can also be triggered during the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS. Remaining FREE SPINS will continue after the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature if it is triggered during PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS.
  • The CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature win amount will be added to the BALANCE.
  • DOUBLOON symbols collected to trigger the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature during gameplay are persistent based on BET value and DOUBLE symbols (CREDITS) selected. This is also platform dependent.
  • In case of network disconnection or game close during the CAPTAIN’S BOOTY feature, the win amount will be credited to player account BALANCE automatically.

FAQ’s:

  • What do I do if the balance is low to place bet?  
    • If your game balance drops below the minimum bet, message about insufficient money will be automatically presented. To add funds to your account, click on the “DEPOSIT” button in the right bottom of the screen, then select the desired deposit option. 
  • I could not complete the game. What should I do?  
    • If you are disconnected in the middle of the base game, the software will automatically complete the game for you. You will be able to find out the result by clicking on the “History” button once you have logged back in. 
    • If you are disconnected after triggering or in the middle of the PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature rounds on reconnection, player will be able start the disconnected PIRATE’S PLUNDER SPINS feature rounds, if not already started, or resume from where it was disconnected.
